On Friday, August 9, at 8:30 PM, on the scenic terrace of the Rondò in Tuoro sul Trasimeno, you will have the opportunity to step back in time to 2,000 years ago.
The Historical Dinner, organized by the Pro Loco of Tuoro, is a true journey back in time with a Roman dinner based on the original recipes of Apicius and other ancient authors. But it won’t just be the food that recalls the grandeur of Ancient Rome; here’s the program for the evening:
- The ancient dance of the Nereids
- The Celtic harp music by Rachele Spingola and the voice of Chiara Pettirossi
- The performance of the Prima Legio Taurus and the legionaries
- A culinary lesson
- Stellae luceant: let the stars shine.
